Mediation

The use of mediation is growing: courts often now expect parties to attempt it first before the litigation process is embarked upon in full. The appointment of a professional neutral mediator helps to provide a framework within which a constructive negotiation can take place between parties. The aim of mediation is to support the parties to enable them to decide when and how to settle their dispute.

Ian Thompson is an RICS Accredited Mediator and has extensive experience of facilitating successful outcomes for parties to a dispute, thus saving the need for potentially expensive litigation. Advocacy
